Acres Draw is privately owned so birding should be done from your car on the road. It is located 1 mile east of Morrill Nebraska on County Road 10 and 1/2 mile north of Highway 26. The west side of the road is grazed so the mudflats attract shorebirds during migration. The east side of the road is cattails. Wood Ducks nest in the area and as many as 40 have been seen at one time. Puddle ducks are present in the summer.

Great-horned Owls also nest in the area.
