Local Field Trips and other Birding Events There is no charge for any of the field trips, anyone is welcome to join us and we encourage beginner birders to come and learn with us Previous Field Trip Bird Sightings Lists Nebraska Breeding Bird Atlas Counts February 17^th – 20^th *Great Backyard Bird Count* Scotts Bluff National Monument will be conducting field trips on Feb 17^th & 18^th at 8am each day Check the GBBC website for more information http://www.birdsource.org/gbbc on how to count birds for this event March 24^th *Waterfowl Field Trip* to the local lakes and ponds Meet at Arby’s at 8am, we will have breakfast then carpool to the lakes, we should be back by 1:00 May 26^th Scotts Bluff County Spring Bird Count Meet at the RCI building at 27^th and Ave I, Scottsbluff at 6am, we should be back by 1:00, might go back out in the afternoon June 16^th *Fort Robinson and Crawford Field Trip* Meet at the RCI building at 27^th and Ave I, Scottsbluff at 6am. We will have lunch at Ft Rob June 30^th *Redington Field Trip* Meet at the new grocery store, 10^th & M St. in Gering at 6am, bring a sack lunch and drinks August 19^th *Wildcat Audubon Annual Picnic* The picnic will be held at Brad and Connie McKinney’s East 38^th St, Scottsbluff at 5pm.
