There is no charge for any of the
field trips, anyone is welcome to join us and we
encourage beginner birders to come and learn with us

Breeding Bird Atlas Counts
February 17th – 20th
Great Backyard Bird Count
Scotts Bluff National Monument will be conducting field
trips on Feb 17th & 18th at 8am
each day

March 24th
Waterfowl Field Trip to the local lakes
and ponds
Meet at Arby’s at 8am, we will have breakfast then
carpool to the lakes, we should be back by 1:00
May 26th
Scotts Bluff County Spring Bird Count
Meet at the RCI building at 27th and Ave I,
Scottsbluff at 6am, we should be back by 1:00, might go
back out in the afternoon
June 16th
Fort Robinson and Crawford Field Trip
Meet at the RCI building at 27th and Ave I,
Scottsbluff at 6am. We will have lunch at Ft Rob
June 30th
Redington Field Trip
Meet at the new grocery store, 10th & M St.
in Gering at 6am, bring a sack lunch and drinks
August 19th
Wildcat Audubon Annual Picnic
The picnic will be held at Brad and Connie McKinney’s
East 38th St, Scottsbluff at 5pm. Bring a
covered dish, table service and lawn chair
September 8th (tentative date)
Breakfast at Wind Springs Ranch
Meet at RCI, 27th & Ave I at 8am to carpool
to the ranch
September 22nd
Scotts Bluff County Fall Bird Count
Meet at Arby’s at 7am, we should be back by 1:00
October 13th
Fall Crane and Waterfowl Field Trip to
local lakes and ponds
Meet at Arby’s at 8am, we should be back by 1:00
December 15th
Scottsbluff Christmas Bird Count
Meet at Arby’s at 6:30am, we will return for lunch then
go back out to count in the afternoon
