Nebraska Games and Parks Wildcat
Hills Nature Center is located 9
miles south of Gering on Hiway 71.
The Nature Center has many
displays of local birds and wildlife and is open from
9-5 Monday through Friday. It will be open for special
events on Saturday and some summer weekends.
Pygmy Nuthatches nest in the
snag near the parking lot in front of the building and
there are feeders and a pond behind the building visible
from the rear deck or inside the Nature Center from the
class room.
